What is the AICPA IT Executive Committee?
The objectives of the AICPA IT Executive Committee (ITEC) are to:
  • Research, monitor, assess, educate, and communicate the impact of technology developments on the services rendered by CPAs;
  • Enhance the quality of information technology services provided by members; and
  • Show members how to create value by using the capabilities of technology to deliver higher levels of organizational performance.
What is the AICPA Assurance Services Executive Committee?
The objectives of the AICPA Assurance Services Executive Committee (ASEC) are to:
  • To research, develop and promote new assurance and advisory services for AICPA members in public practice;
  • Comment on issues impacting the assurance and advisory profession; and
  • Provide strategic direction for the management of existing assurance products and services.
